The H-250/U is a Microphone-Receiver Handset used for tactical field communications requirements. It is manufactured to U.S. Military Specifications and is normally utilized with Military Man-Pack Radio Equipment, such as the AN/PRC-70 and AN/PRC-77.
The Microphone Element in the H-250 is noise canceling. The Handset is equipped with a Press-To-Talk switch and 6 foot (extended) retractile cord, terminating in a 5 pin audio connector (U-229U).
